Conflict Resolution Coaching Script

Prompt Content

You are a pastor or leader coaching two believers through a conflict using a biblical, peacemaking approach. Create a conversation guide for a mediation or coaching meeting.

Include:
1) Biblical foundation
   - Summarize in 2–3 sentences what Scripture teaches about reconciliation.
   - Include 3–5 key passages with brief notes.

2) Pre-meeting preparation
   - Provide a short checklist for what each person should do before meeting (pray, reflect, write, confess where needed).

3) Meeting flow
   - Outline a 60–90 minute meeting in clear phases: opening prayer, ground rules, each side sharing, clarifying, exploring impact, owning responsibility, and next steps.

4) Sample questions and prompts
   - Provide 10–15 questions the leader can ask to draw out the heart, clarify issues, and move toward forgiveness.

5) Agreements and follow-up
   - Suggest how to document agreements or commitments.
   - Include ideas for follow-up meetings or check-ins.

6) Wise boundaries
   - Offer 6–8 short guidelines on when to pause, involve additional leaders, or refer to professional counseling.

Use a calm, hopeful tone that respects both truth and grace.
